Communications and Engagement Adviser

As the Communications and Engagement Adviser, you will have the opportunity to work across some of the State's largest and most impactful health infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Engagement, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of communication and engagement plans for a number of priority projects, which will include local stakeholder and community engagement, event management and creative content development.

Accountabilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Communication and Engagement Plans to support the Authority's priority projects and programs and deliver the best possible community outcomes.
- Design and run targeted stakeholder and community engagement activities to raise awareness/understanding of - and seek meaningful input into - the Authority's major projects (including information and consultation sessions, surveys and facilitated workshops).
- Lead content development and distribution for target audience and stakeholder groups (including online news stories, social media posts, key messaging books, brochures and flyers).
- Create post-engagement analysis reports including key themes of community interest and preferences, ensuring feedback is provided to the community.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
- Represent the team on key stakeholder committees and groups concerned with achieving government and departmental objectives, contribute to relevant committee and governance processes.
- Work collaboratively with other areas of the Communications and Engagement unit to ensure the delivery of seamless and professional communications services for all areas of the department.
- Contribute to continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the Communications and Engagement unit.
