Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons for secondary students, integrating Steiner education principles into the curriculum.
- Teach IBDP Visual Art to senior students, providing guidance and support throughout the course.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and artistic exploration.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development as artists.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the educational experience of students.
- Actively participate in the school community, including attending staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
- Commitment to Child Safety and the ability to work with the Victorian Child Safety Standards.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), or eligibility for registration.
- Experience teaching art at the secondary level, preferably with senior students.
- Familiarity with the IBDP Visual Art curriculum and willingness to undergo training if not already certified.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a passion for inspiring students to develop their artistic talents and abilities.
