about the role
Chevron Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Advisor to join the maintenance and reliability (M&R) team. Reporting to the QA Team Lead, this permanent role will be based in Perth with regular site visits.

The role will assist in the development and implementation of Chevron’s Quality Management governance, ensure 3rd party contractor quality management, and ensure that assurance and control resourcing plans are in place for all M&R activities.

**Additionally, the Quality Advisor will**:
Lead, review and provide guidance for supporting Fabrication, Maintenance and turnaround governance activities covering fixed equipment, rotating equipment, electrical & instrumentation, and welding & fabrication.

Assist with the implementation and ongoing development / improvement of the Quality Management System and Quality Management Plans to support safe and reliable operations.

Responsible for identifying and/or managing quality non-conformances in conjunction with originators and discipline SMEs for static equipment.

Promoting Audits and non-conformances as effective improvement

Monitor the performance of Quality across Operations and report on performance against agreed measures. tools

Working jointly with the Integrity Group to develop Quality Assurance/Quality Control Standards for fixed equipment repair/alterations and other critical asset types.

Engage with numerous Maintenance and Capital contractors, IMPACT core teams, engineering groups, and the quality management team.

Manages changes and additions to quality control documentation in conjunction with the Maintenance Quality and Inspection Team leader.

**To be considered for this role, applicants should have**:
Certificate of Engineering Qualifications or Trade certificate.

Good understanding of Quality Management principles, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, data base fundamentals and principles.

Knowledge of Australian standards, American Codes, LNG Facility specifications, and technical data resources such as Vendor OEMs to determine minimum requirements for quality verification of equipment during Maintenance, Repair, and Installation of equipment.

Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 Quality management system requirements and Lead Auditor experience.

Good change management capabilities to help cultivate new behaviors, build organizational discipline, and drive change in an evolving organization.
