An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
**Creative Director** to join a dynamic team at FINE-DAY.

Reporting to the Director of Lifestyle Brands, this role will lead and oversee the design, development and sourcing of the FINE-DAY product range that represents a premium offer in the marketplace.

The Creative Director will also be responsible for overseeing the brand’s aesthetic, tone of voice, messaging and creative content.

**THE ROLE**
- Design & development of the FINE-DAY range in keeping with brand image, option plan, price points and margin
- Develop a Strategic Design Brief which will cater for the FINE-DAY core customer
- Research and development into emerging trends & markets
- Conducting competitor analysis in both domestic and international markets.
- Brief off-shore agents/vendors to meet the requirements of the product - provide spec sheets and work with vendors and agents on selection of raw materials and components.
- Manage and communicate ideas and growth opportunities for the business to the Executive Management Team
- Lead and develop the product development and design team to ensure they are equipped and motivated to achieve functional goals.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Product Design & Development
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to build & bring product designs to life aligning to brand and mission
- Experience sourcing and working with overseas vendors; in particular China and India
- Strong fabric and technical knowledge
- Proven experience in successfully leading teams
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
