The objective of the Agile/ Enterprise Coach is to lead the design and on-going improvement of “the Zurich Way” (ANZ). This is to be based on agile principles, collaboratively constructed and iterated on through testing and learning. This includes tools, templates, frameworks, terminology and processes required to ideate, design, plan and execute in order to take advantage of the above.

Your role will include, but is not limited to:

- Maintain their agile craft, including but not limited to scaled agile methodologies, new and emerging common agile practices.
- Ensure teams and the organisation have a clear understanding of the values and practices of agile and agile methodologies, and the rationale behind them. Encourage and assist them with making continuous improvements to their ways of working.
- Lead and coach others in facilitating ceremonies from team to enterprise level e.g. stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, showcase, retrospective, open space, lean coffee, strategic backlog prioritisation, quarterly business review, increment planning, scrum of scrums, workshops, etc. Be adept at introducing fresh ideas and feedback into ceremonies to ensure these are at their most effective and stay interesting and relevant.
- Understand and help individuals, teams and leaders to develop the right capabilities so they can achieve their key motivations, career objectives and personal improvement needs, coaching and mentoring them to be self-organising and high performing.
- Encourage and assist teams in improving their customer centricity, agile maturity, flow of value, identifying impediments to business agility and maintaining a healthy backlog of continuous improvement items.
- Challenge the status quo and foster a continuous improvement culture throughout the enterprise, helping others to develop habits that enable business agility
- Help teams within the organisation understand their current state, how to experiment and continuously evolve how work gets done.
- Coach teams in defining all their work in terms of a clear outcome and how success will be measured. A practice of build, measure, learn.

- Certified Enterprise Agile Coach preferred
- Certified Agile Coach/Scrum Master/Product Owner advantageous
- Expert understanding of agile practices and enterprise agile frameworks e.g. SAFe, LeSS, Scrum at Scale, etc
- Proven experience in delivery of large scale initiatives (preferred)
- Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks
- Experience in leading multiple agile delivery teams, as an Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Program Manager or Release Train Engineer
- Experience with design, implementation and embedding of intent based delivery frameworks to improve value driven delivery
- Ability to solve complex problems and deliver transformational change
- Great presentation and awesome facilitation, communication and mentoring skills
- Great at asking powerful questions along with empathetic listening skills
- Ability to influence executives and leaders to make positive change, resulting in organisational growth and business agility
