What you’ll do
- Processing of weekly and monthly payruns with accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Processing all leave requests
- Preparing and processing all termination calculations as per relevant awards, EAs, Employment contracts, company policies and other relevant legislation.
- Ensure payroll practices are compliant with company policy, industrial instruments, agreements and legislation.
- Ensure requests and queries are investigated, actioned and communicated within agreed timelines and quality levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding the current the current Enterprise Agreements to help provide advice to relevant parties
- Maintaining filing system
- Preparing and distributing all statutory documentation
- Contribute to and deliver on functional and team culture and engagement plans

What you’ll bring
- Solid end to end payroll experience
- Understanding of computerised payroll and time and attendance systems (CHRIS21and Kronos are ideal but not essential)
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proven track record of dealing with a modern award and ability to interpret relevant legislation
