This client is the government’s chief digital advisor, responsible for providing strategic and policy leadership on whole-of-government and shared information and communications technology (ICT) investments and digital service delivery.

They lead the development, delivery and monitoring of whole-of-government strategies, policies and standards.

**The Opportunity**:
You will get a chance to work across all aspects of HR to build broad expertise whilst also getting the chance to discover what really interests you. You will be provided with an opportunity to learn, develop and get involved in some very exciting things, such as the rollout of a Customer Relationship Management system, input into the Employee Value Proposition and learn about innovative digital Recruitment and Onboarding platforms.

**The Role**:
As the APS5/6 Recruitment Officer you will be responsible for:

- Working across the HR team and provide support on an as needs basis across a variety of HR functions, including payroll, recruitment and generalist HR activities
- Managing recruitment processes and onboarding software platforms such as eRecruit and HROnboard with a focus on continuous improvement
- Supporting the position reporting structures in SAP/HUB as well as the APS Job Family mapping
- Liaising with external payroll provider and external suppliers
- Working across the Corporate Branch to provide timely recruitment, onboarding and offboarding services
- Identifying and assessing opportunities for improving the efficiency of HR services for employees, management and external facing networks
- Innovatively lead and support HR projects and deliver expected outcomes using agile and user focused methodologies
- Preparing high level briefing and correspondence on HR issues including those that relate to cross-function projects, including workforce planning exercises

**Your Background and Experience**:
You will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and vibrant individual who will contribute to the People Operations functions and support the delivery and implementation of key HR operational activities and projects to drive a positive culture.

You will have:

- A positive attitude and a team player
- Human Resource Management qualifications are desired, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail, proactive approach to managing own workload and a track-record of success in managing competing priorities in a complex, demanding environment. Ability to meet pressing deadlines, work effectively under pressure and work effectively in a team environment
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate information and ideas logically and engage with staff with confidence and compassion
- Experience using eRecruit, HROnboard and SAP payroll systems or similar would be highly desirable
- Technical proficiency in using eRecruit (Acendre) or a similar system is highly regarded

**A Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance will be required for this role.**

**Salary / Rate**:

- APS5 - $76,681 - $83,557 + 15.4% super
- APS6 - $84,555 - $99,306 + 15.4% super
- 12 Month Non-ongoing
