WHO ARE YOU?_**

This role is perfect for a creative, driven, passionate and experienced Designer who wants to contribute to generational change in Australia’s mental health through preventative mental health initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving the Smiling Mind brand’s visual representation. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders you’ll develop creative across multiple channels, media, and major consumer campaigns. Working from initial brief, requirements gathering, development and execution.

This role, reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead and Head of Marketing and Communications, will own the Smiling Mind brand book, brand guidelines, style guide and visual identity. You’ll also have a strategic role in crafting Smiling Mind’s visual identity and increasing the creative benchmark of Smiling Mind's brand whilst honouring its origins, you will work as part of an agile team helping to deliver on our organisational strategy.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Full-service design for the Smiling Mind organisation
- Act as a custodian of the Smiling Mind brand
- Maintain and evolve the Smiling Mind brand book, brand guidelines, style guide and visual identity.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualise and execute creative requirements and outputs across all media including websites, digital assets, products, business documents, print, signage, events, communications, and marketing materials.
- Create templates across multiple mediums for use across the Smiling Mind team.
- Lead design related consultation and execution across projects, campaigns, and other initiatives and liaise with stakeholder and approvers for feedback.
- Support the Junior Graphic Designer in the successful completion of allocated tasks and projects, providing ongoing constructive feedback and support.

**Qualifications**:

YOU’VE GOT:_**
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills and experience and proficient in Keynote, PowerPoint, Sketch and Squarespace
- Ability to work from concept through to finished artwork.
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking skills.
- Versatility of style and medium
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in multitasking, meeting short deadlines and working in a high-paced environment is a must.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support organisational needs and outcomes.
- The ability to organise your own workload and prioritise effectively.
- The ability to delegate work to internal and external resources and provide constructive feedback on the created assets.
- An understanding of the role preventative mental health can play in the development of young people and a willingness to learn more about this.

**BONUS POINTS FOR**:

- Photography, animation, digital design and development and video editing skills and experience
- Experience in a start-up /scale-up environment
- Systems knowledge and experience using the Google Suite, Asana, HubSpot and Squarespace
