LOCATION WHERE POSITION WILL BE BASED: Alexandria SYDNEY.

We are an importer and distributor of high-quality European food and beverage, as well as a large assortment of local food and beverage items, to major retailers, restaurants, hotels, speciality retail grocers and other food service establishments, throughout Australia.

We are seeking an enthusiastic National Account Manager, to assist us in servicing our Major retail clients in a full time role.
- **The main responsibilities include**_:
Ø Deal with all retail customers and maintain good relationships with buyers.

Ø Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.

Ø Manage communications and solve key client issues and complaints related with supply, quality and logistics.

Ø Negotiate contracts with the client and establish a timeline of performance

Ø Execution of new products launches. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.

Ø Fill out customers’ forms and create quotations

Ø Follow product development from initial stage/proposal until reaching the conclusion of the deal.

**CATEGORY REVIEW**
- Analyse customers following new business development calendar
- Analyse market trends
- Decide best products to be proposed and send offers copying Retail Manager HQ

**TENDERING PROCESS**
- Customer invite NAE to participate to a tender
- Analyse and decide which suppliers NAE will use to participate in the tender coordinating with HQ
- Send offers, copying Retail Manager HQ
- Start the general process to deliver the products to the customers.

**NEW PRODUCTS PROPOSALS**
- Analyse best products to be proposed based on market trends
- Submit marketing material
- Send offers, copying Retail Manager HQ

**SUPPLIERS REVIEW**
- Analyse products that may have suppliers with more competitive prices and customers willing to allow changes in the supply chain

*Suppliers management:

- Local suppliers are managed directly by AU
- All other suppliers are managed by HQ and AU can communicate with them only after approval from HQ

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role you will be able to combine your technical knowledge and your stakeholder management skills to create meaningful connections. You will be self-driven with the ability to manage your time effectively as well as prioritise your workload. You will use your commercial acumen to identify opportunities as well as problem-solve.

Ideally, you will have:

- Tertiary Qualification in Business, Management or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in sales and key account management at a national level
- Prior experience working with food and beverage, with focus on European products
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with ease.
- Strong commercial acumen
- Good selling and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient with the ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- Flexibility and commitment.
