About the role

Our Donor Relations team is seeking a hands-on customer service expert to engage with our Lifeblood Teams and the broader community, working alongside the Regional Partnerships Group Account Managers, Mobile Operations Officers, and the Donor Relations Support Manager.

A day as an Account Assistant / Administration Assistant will see you:
Efficiently coordinate group donation bookings and regular re-bookings to create an excellent group donor experience and encourage retention

Support Regional Partnerships Group Account Managers in identifying new opportunities for community and corporate activities, blood drives and events

Assist in the planning, implementation, and execution of blood drives and events to increase community engagement and drive growth - such as university Orientation Week events and community fairs

Promote Lifeblood Teams to potential new customers

**Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for**:
Any prior experience in event management, sales or projects advantageous

Skills in facilitation and liaison, with the ability to build strong relationships with external stakeholders

An ability to work cooperatively and interact effectively at all levels within the organisation

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within certain timeframes while maintaining attention to detail

Computer-savvy with digital and technical aptitude, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

This role is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity until April 2024, due to an internal secondment. This position will have the ability to work from home remotely. Occasionally, working from the office at our Sydney Processing Centre in Alexandria, NSW will be required - to collaborate with colleagues in the Donor Relations team and to build strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders. Infrequent travel to support community events across metropolitan Sydney may be involved.
