**About the Role**:
Human Resources Assistant (Bilingual English and Cantonese/Mandarin) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources team to ensure its accuracy and efficiency. Human Resources Assistant provides HR administration and process support to the Human Resources Manager in recruitment and employee management functions as well as the HR system.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Prepare letters of offer and employment contracts.
- Ensure the latest HR policies, procedures; forms and position descriptions are accessible to all internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and assistance to system users on how to navigate the HR system effectively.
- Assist HR Manager in creating /updating user manual and checklist when needed.
- Conduct HRIS new user/refresher training when required
- Assist the HR Manager in handling complaints and grievance procedures.
- Manage staff records and related checks in the HRIS system
- Assisting in training and development activities

**About you**:
**Essential**:

- Minimum one year’s experience in Human resources management or similar administrative roles.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or business administration.
- The ability to produce accurate work with a high attention to detail, and within challenging time frames.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to use initiative and think laterally to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- A high level of confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and fluent in English and Cantonese
- Must be able to communicate with stakeholders at different levels and from different backgrounds.
- The flexibility and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- National Police Clearance.
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency.

**Desirable**:

- Able to write Chinese and communicate in Mandarin.
- Demonstrated initiation and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in negotiating and resolving conflict/disputes in the workplace.
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.
- Experience working with the Aged Care or Community care sector.
- Experience in interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards.
- Experience in using enableHR HRIS.
