We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and forward-thinking
**Chief Marketing Officer **to join our team. Someone who will envision, direct and guide our customer centric oral care brands branding and marketing. The CMO will be responsible for strengthening the brand, building its product portfolio and go-to-market strategies as well as global expansion. This role will report directly to the CEO.

Based in our South Yarra office the CMO must have 8+ years’ experience in both the eCommerce and Digital space (preferably working in D2C) as well as offline marketing experience, and will have aspirations for growth, innovation, and positive outcomes. Preferably someone with B2B marketing experience across grocery and pharmacy.

**Requirements to be successful for this role, you will**:

- Proven 8+ years of experience working in a similar marketing role in house for a brand that grocery and pharmacy listings as well as a D2C model.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing
- 5+ years of people management skills. Great people skills and empathy to connect with others and lead a team.
- Willing to be scrappy and hands-on in a fast-paced startup environment, can work flexibly and collaboratively across multiple projects even when priorities change
- Strong communication skills—including written, verbal, and non-verbal—and the ability to manage and lead a team. Confident, articulate, and professional communication style.
- Strong knowledge of landing page optimization
- Understanding Grocery & Pharmacy Retail Promotional planning
- Ability to create digital marketing and advertising content for social media platforms, such as, **Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube**:

- Proven track record using **Facebook Ads Manager**:

- The ability to take direction, work independently and hit aggressive targets
- Proven experience in scaling ad spend (both online and offline) profitably
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage performance marketing programs to deliver strong ROI.
- Technical expertise in Product Feeds, pixel set up and best practice account setup and management
- Proven experience in measuring and analyzing online and offline marketing campaigns
- A patient, team-first & success-oriented attitude with a growth mindset.
- Someone who loves being in the office 4-days a week and enjoys collaborative team work
- A passion for beauty and wellbeing

**Duties**
- Leading brand and portfolio transformation, including successfully shaping global brand vision, strategy and innovation maps.
- Ensuring the brands message is distributed across channels and to targeted audiences in order to meet sales objectives.
- Be proactive and excited to grow our startup to be a leader in the beauty/wellness industry
- Oversee a company’s overall advertising and sales strategy.
- Drive revenue by increasing sales through marketing activities.
- Develop the structure of the business’s marketing department.
- Report generation and analysis to provide actionable insights and tactical recommendations based on performance, market trends and key insights
- Monitor the competitive landscape and share best practice from across the industryDevelop reports and share monthly insights with the wider team to develop optimisation plans
- Establish and refine brand positioning, identify target customers, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and regions.
- Spearhead and execute field marketing initiatives, including events and retail activations, brand partnerships and collaborations.
- Develop and execute strategies and to increase retention and lifetime value of customers via organic and paid marketing channels.
- Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms to extract and recommend key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
- Research and help identify new marketing and sales opportunities.
- From strategy to execution, create and implement a highly effective strategy across Facebook Ads, Tik Tok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Google Ads and YouTube Ads, scaling our account spend while maintaining a healthy ROAS.
- From strategy to execution, create and implement a highly effective strategy across offline retail marketing, including working with agencies to develop offline activations, street poster campaigns
- Working with a commercial manager to manage and execute co-op spending in pharmacy and grocery channels
- Hitting aggressive weekly and monthly KPIs
- Successfully run campaigns pushing business-as-usual products, as well as one-off/limited edition campaigns
- Work alongside agencies, graphic designers /video editors, to create high performing campaigns - ideally looking to bring all this in house
