Junior Financial Analyst

Junior Financial Analyst wanted for a leading high-end fashion brand.

**Your new company**

A leader in retail fashion, they are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join their team to undertake performance monitoring and analysis to support strategic decisions.

**Your new role**

Working closely with the Finance Manager, your prime responsibilities will be to create timely and accurate monthly reporting.

As well as tasks such as:

- Work with Shared Service Centre on month end closing, preparation and upload of P&L and financial data at company & store levels into reporting system for Australia and New Zealand with accuracy and completeness
- Be the first reviewer of Balance Sheet accounts recompilations, coordinating with Shared Service Centres O2C and P2P teams to eliminate ageing AP/AR balances
- Maintaining lease system to ensure lease information is updated on timely manner per IFRS16
- Be the second contact for bank user administration and merchant EFTPOS management
- Assist Finance Manager and work with corporate teams/budget owners on each budget and forecast preparation and review of key assumptions
- Assist Finance Manager to partner with budget owners on expense tracking (actual vs budget/forecast)

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA qualification or studying towards it
- Minimum 3-4 years working experience in financial or management accounting, preferably with retail / audit / hospitality / FMCG experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in SAP, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Power BI would be an advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines with ‘can do’ attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving oriented
