**What does the role involve?**
Reporting to ‘General Manager, Investment & Procurement’, your role is to lead and manage the Procurement function, responsible for sourcing, procurement, supply management, and environmental sustainability across the enterprise. You are also responsible for strategy development and implementation, maintaining process simplification, organisational alignment, and leadership to support our _Post 26 strategy_ and financial operating plans.
Your responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:
- Identify ongoing opportunities for cost savings, supplier development & performance, and manage any risk to minimise supply disruption and financial risk
- Adopt a healthy procurement framework that delivers “buy better” and “spend better” outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and develop Strategic Supplier Management Plans where required
- Collaborate across the Enterprise with key stakeholders at all levels to identify and prioritise opportunities driving revenue and profit

**What are we looking for?**
- Experienced procurement professional with exposure to large corporate best sourcing practices and processes
- Sound commercial knowledge and understanding, including an understanding of national/global providers, contract law, probity practices, and procedures
- Proven experience in supplier relationship management within a large organisation across several categories
