Home Sweet Home is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our dedicated and dynamic team. This role is pivotal to maintaining the financial health of our business, supporting our operations with accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions and reporting.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**: Manage all incoming and outgoing payments.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- **Educational Background**: Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping from TAFE or university, or equivalent experience.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an exceptional eye for detail.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with major accounting systems, such as Xero, is essential.

- **Bank Reconciliations**: Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts.
- **Month-End Reporting**: Prepare monthly financial reports, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- **Financial Analysis**: Assist with ongoing financial analysis to improve our financial position.
- **Balance Sheet Reconciliations**: Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations.
- **Internal Transfers Management**: Handle internal fund transfers.
- **Payroll Administration**: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- **Superannuation Management**: Handle all aspects of superannuation requirements.
- **Human Resources Support**: Assist with HR tasks as needed.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
