Our client, an industry leader in the property sector, is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join their Governance, Risk & Compliance team. As HSE Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the business with the implementation of the company's HSE strategy, system, and associated HSE risk programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide HSE advice and support to internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of HSE excellence throughout the business.
- Deliver HSE training and educational programs, coordinate site inspections at the company's assets across Australia, and maintain HSE management manuals in line with ISO 45001 and 14001.
- Liaise with property and building management teams, development contractors, and other stakeholders on significant and/or notifiable HSE incidents to ensure investigations are completed, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are implemented.
- Expand and deliver HSE training programs to the business and partner with the business to provide ad hoc advice and support on HSE matters.
- Assist with regular HSE committees and forums run by the Risk team and business.
- Contribute to reports on HSE framework, policy and activities, including data analytics and escalation and root cause analysis of individual incidents.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required.

Selection Criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in a HSE discipline.
- Qualified ISO 45001 Auditor and ICAM or TapRooT investigation certification.
- At least 5 years previous experience in a similar multi-site HSE role, ideally within the property or construction industry.
- Experience using risk and contractor management system software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and customer retention skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- Conduct to the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
- Appreciating diversity in the workplace and treating everyone with respect.
- Approachable, supporting and building positive and constructive relationships within teams.
- Comply with the company's HSE system.
