**Overview**
- The Team Leader Aboriginal Health is responsible for the leadership and management of the multi-disciplinary Aboriginal Health team and the provision of cultural advice to the Regional Leadership Team and Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) health units. The Aboriginal Programs Coordinator/Team Leader of Aboriginal Health will be responsible for ensuring responsive health services, including chronic disease programs, and activities across the local health network that contribute to increasing access and improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people in the Barossa Hills Fleurieu LHN. These will be based on social justice and a social view of health, and will be developed in collaboration with communities and relevant organisations within government and other sectors, inclusive of closing the gap partnerships with Country Primary Health Network and other key stakeholders.- The Aboriginal Programs Coordinator / Team Leader will ensure that program and service delivery meets the objectives and KPIs of the relevant funding agreements and policy directions, in a culturally safe environment. He/she will provide cultural advice to support planning and delivery of all mainstream and Aboriginal Health programs across BHF Region. Assisting with community engagement, workforce planning and ensuring Aboriginal Health Impact Statements are included and achieved in all programs delivered.- The Aboriginal Programs Coordinator / Team Leader provides leadership and direction to the multi-disciplinary team of staff within a primary health care focus undertaking operational management of the service including planning and monitoring of service provision, data collection and service evaluation.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
