The purpose of Customer Insights and Reporting team is to support the entire OnePass business by enabling more sophisticated uses of data across OnePass and our partnering Divisions. This team is responsible for establishing a self-service reporting capability within the business, for designing, building and maintaining reports to support management and operational decision making, and for responding to ad-hoc analysis needs. This team is also responsible for designing advanced analytical solutions to business or customer problems and working with domain teams to deploy these solutions.

**What you’ll be doing**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Data Analytics Lead** to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analytics Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimising our Product Strategy through data driven insights. You will lead a team of analysts and collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for product improvement, understand user behaviour, and drive data informed decision making.

You will be collaborating with data consumers across OnePass to help design, build and maintain great data products. You’ll also work alongside the data platform team to ensure that you have the tools you need and to optimise our data models. In this role, you will lead the establishment of a comprehensive and easy-to-use, self-service reporting platform that democratises data and creates a space where your colleagues are able and eager to answer their own questions. Your team will also be users of this platform, designing, building and maintaining critical product performance reports to drive improved decision-making through easy access to data. In future, your team will also establish an advanced analytical capability to drive better customer outcomes through personalisation

**Key duties and deliverables**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product analytics strategy aligned with business goals. Identify key metrics and indicators to measure product performance and member engagement.
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts providing guidance, training and support to ensure their professional growth. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture than emphasises continuous learning and development
- Collaborate with product managers, product owners, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to understand their needs, define analytics requirements and drive data informed product decisions. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for the use of data in the product development process.
- Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, proactively collaborating to determine and anticipate needs, and deliver high-level complex investigative and analytical insights
- Deeply understand user behaviour through comprehensive analysis of behavioural and transactional data. Identify opportunities for improving the OnePass member experience, optimising product features, and increase member engagement and retention.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations that track product performance and communicate key findings to stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key metrics to support decision making and ensuring documentation is up to date and easy to use. Champion awareness and advocacy of analytics, in part through clearly and concisely explaining analytics approaches and techniques to non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance and data governance policies, privacy regulations and best practices. Collaborate with the data platform team including data engineers, and security teams to maintain data integrity and security through the product analytics process.

**What you will need**
- Experience in designing end to end analytics solutions to support product teams
- Experience managing a team of analytics professionals
- Hands-on experience building analytics models and building complex and visually appealing reports in Power BI
- Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders and drive reporting and analytics maturity within the business.
- Ability to switch effectively between thinking strategically and supporting your team to solve complicated technical problems.
- Analytics professional with a proven track record (4+ years) in the development and business use of analytics technology and working with large & complex data sets
- Familiarity with web architecture including tag management, data layers, analytics tracking, and corresponding data flows
- Experience in big data analytics and technology preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and/or other analytics languages
- Bachelor or Masters degree in a Computer Science, Econometrics, Accounting, Applied Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, or another numerate field
