**About the role**:
Knauf Gypsum is looking for an experienced and reliable **Trade Store Operator. **This is a great opportunity to join our high performing business based in **Bundaberg, QLD.** The role reports to the Trade Store Manager.

Ability to demonstrate a positive, can-do and friendly attitude, willing to work both on the floor in the warehouse and in the office to interact with customers directly and picking orders accurately is key to the role.

This role is responsible to providing exceptional customer service through the daily operations of the Service Centre, in accordance with the Company’s strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures and policies.

**Some duties include**:

- Handling of plasterboard and associated products for customer order assembly
- Loading and unloading of customer vehicles and supplier trucks
- Manage all order makeup for customers as required
- Maintain compliance to the Management System and relevant procedures
- Check and make orders with diligence and receipting of goods
- Assist with stock take process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
- Assist in management of transport resources to maintain service standards
- Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
- Provide exceptional customer service via face to face interaction

**Must have**:

- Microsoft Office skills to complete operational tasks
- Team player, attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Current forklift license required or willing to obtain
- Experience in picking, packing and dispatch
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload
- The physical ability to load and unload, pick and pack items be comfortable with manual handling
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service for internal and external customers
- A motivated, organized and responsible approach to their work, with a keen eye for safety
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen, take direction and lead when necessary;
- Problem-solving focus with the ability to lead others;
- Ability to work autonomously, with limited supervision as well as in a team
