We are seeking a dedicated and talented Human Resources Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover a parental leave position. This opportunity has arisen as one of our valued team members will be on parental leave until 5 August 2025. To ensure a seamless transition and continued excellence in our HR functions, we are looking for the successful applicant to commence around 1 August 2024.

**Hours**:Full-Time (1 FTE), Parental Leave Cover (Fixed-Term Contract Until 05/08/2025)

**Learn about the position**:
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is a vital role within our organisation, dedicated to helping people and enhancing our workplace environment. This position involves working across all levels of the organisation, delivering informed, professional, and efficient HR services in alignment with the strategies set by the Executive Manager, People & Culture.

Key responsibilities include partnering with senior staff to identify HR priorities and recommend effective people management solutions related to organisational development, culture, and change. The HR Manager plays a crucial role in delivering outcomes and managing issues to support our organisational goals.

In addition, the HR Manager provides values-based leadership, coaching, support, and guidance to Sonder’s internal HR team. Ensuring that HR programs and initiatives are closely aligned with Sonder’s vision, goals, and Strategic Plan is a fundamental aspect of this role.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Proven successful and recent experience in a busy HR generalist type role, preferably within a not for profit or commercial organisation;
- Proven skills in respecting and maintaining integrity and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues
- demonstrated ability coaching senior leaders and driving the performance of HR within a context of change;
- A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and manage customer expectations

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related business discipline;
- 5-10 years relevant professional and/or management experience; and
- Knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft suite of software and databases
