**About the Company**
Our client is recognised as one of Australia's most dynamic and innovative super funds and has a long history of providing reliable support and service to employers and their members.
As the Lead Data Analyst, you will aid member retention and business expansion by delivering timely and precise insights. These insights will drive informed decision-making, leading to the ongoing optimization of member and business strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to optimise business and member engagement;
- Facilitate regular forums for data evaluation;
- Promote an insight-led culture by communicating key outcomes and proactively educating the business on analytics best practices;
- Work with data models to develop precise member and employer data models, implement efficient templates and databases, and source and maintain data systems in alignment with business requirements;
- Analyse complex data using statistical techniques to solve diverse business problems, identifying trends and patterns for valuable insights; AND
- Deliver accurate reports and dashboards for business users, providing insights into demographic and behavioral trends at multiple levels.
**Technical Skills & Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in statistics, mathematics, computer science or any degree relevant to business analytics;
- 5-7 years’ demonstrated expertise in data analytics ideally within the financial services;
- Extensive experience in end-to-end data analytics, including requirement gathering, analysis, stakeholder management, and presenting key insights;
- Working understanding of superannuation legislation and products are highly regarded;
- Proficient in data extraction, modelling, and analysis;
- Impeccable attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills;
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the team;
- Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Stack (Azure, SSMS, MS Excel and PowerPoint);
- Competent with tools such as Tableau and Power BI;
- Adept with programming language and /or data mining tools (SQL, Python, R, or other); AND
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
