We are currently seeking an experienced **Kitchen Hand** to join the team at **Bethanie on the Park Retirement Village** located in Menora.

This role is currently being offered on a **permanent part time basis,** working 15 hours per week on **Tuesday, Thursday and Friday** between **9:30am and 2:00pm.**

To be successful in this role, you will have existing knowledge of various food preparation methods as well as food safety and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is a component of this role.

**About the Role**:

- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily.
- Assisting is preparation, apportioning and serving of meals.
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery

**About You**:

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Kitchen Hand ideally in an aged care, hospital, or similar environment.
- Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid working rights
- Willingness to uphold the Vision, Mission and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations 3x Covid and annual flu vaccination
- Willingness to obtain National Police Clearance
