Print Assistant

**About the Role**:
An exciting immediate opportunity for a Print Assistant to join our growing/established Production team based in our Perth plant. You will be required to accommodate a flexible schedule, covering rotating shifts across different time frames. You will join an established team who are the success behind print professionals. Duties include:
- Supporting our technical print team in producing printed & embellished labels at a high volume for major national clients
- Assisting the lead Printer in the operations of the press, including set up and minding.
- Job preparations using raw materials such as plates, paper, foil, ink & varnish.
- Basic data records on machine operations
- Quality control checking responsibilities.
- General housekeeping of working environment such as cleaning and keeping area safe.

**About You (criteria)**:
- Mechanically aptitude (preferred)
- Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided)
- Certificate II qualification in Printing or similar field (preferred but not essential)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to discern all colors (no color vision concerns).
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- High regard for safety and a proactive, eager learner.
