**THE ROLE**

You'll be in charge of the management of the production team in their factory and will have some of the following requirements.
- Strategically plan and arrange the delivery of construction processes to optimise the utilisation and monitoring of site resources such as labour, machinery, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
- Strong adherence to OHS regulations, and promoting the adoption of safe work practices across all parties involved in various site activities.
- Providing assistance to the Contracts Manager/Administrator by aiding in the management of variations, pertinent claims, and claims from subcontractors or trade contractors.
- Overseeing work in alignment with set specifications to ensure a consistent standard of quality and precision of all tasks

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**

The ideal person that will succeed in this position will have the following background;
- Trade background - Ideally Carpentry
- Strong team management skills working on a construction site
- Excellent communication skills across all levels including production team + team management
- Understanding of current building codes & practices
- OHS experience (CPR & First Aid) with a solid understandig of on-site safety
