There is a career path in place that will see you become Assistant Supply Chain manager in the next 6 - 12 months, and then Supply Chain Manager in 12 - 18 months.

How will this be achieved? Well, you'll work directly with the CEO of the business who understands the organization from the top to the bottom. They are committed to providing you with their time and ensuring that you will be learning and developing constantly. For example, a significant part of this role will focus on contracts - the CEO will take the lead with these whilst you observe and learn until you are ready to take the work on.

We're not looking for you to have been there, seen it, and done it all. We're looking for you to be on the up in your career with a strong willingness and desire to learn.

However, there are some things which we feel are key to your success - firstly, your personality. This is a role that will give exposure to the entire business and external partners, so it is crucial that you can build relationships and can engage in business-critical conversations. You must be a strong communicator.

You'll also be someone who loves working with technology and have a background within a tech environment. Few supply chains run effectively without the use of sophisticated technology and as such, you'll need to have a strong understanding of IT.

Previous exposure to inventory, supply chain, and demand planning is required but as stated - you don't need to have done everything.

**What you'll be doing**:
To summarise, you will work closely with the CEO to develop and support the Supply Chain process on a day-to-day basis supporting multiple locations around Australia. Key areas of support will include Procurement, Demand Planning, Freight, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Distribution, as well as tactical and operational planning.
