**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting to the CISO you’ll be involved in:
ISO 27001:2022 Implementation & Maintenance
- Lead the implementation of ISO 27001:2022 across multiple group businesses in Australia, ensuring alignment with the standard's, requirements and best practices
- Develop and maintain the ISMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the ISMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage external ISO 27001:2022 certification audits
- Provide ongoing training and awareness programs to ensure all employees understand their security responsibilities
- Knowledge of Australian Privacy Act
- Liaise with customers and 3rd parties on security assessments and security reviews

Security Incident Management
- Assist in developing and maintaining the incident response plans, ensuring it is regularly tested and updated
- Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams to contain, investigate, and remediate incidents
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventive measures
- Maintain incident logs and provide regular reporting to management

Security Leadership
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management and staff on security best practices
- Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends, and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks
- Foster a security-conscious culture across the organisation
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop relationships to help promote and improve information security and provide security advice on projects, products and new initiatives as required

Other
- As the business is distributed globally and members of the Security team are based in the UK/EU there will be an expectation to have calls outside of business hours

**Who we’re looking for**

- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on ISO 27001
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and/or Lead Auditor certification
- Experience in managing security incidents
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in working with multiple business units
- Knowledge of other security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS)
- Good verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to manage time and prioritise.

**What your impact and success looks like**

As an Information Security Manager, we expect your success and impact in the early stages of your career with us to look something like this:
Within 1 month:

- Gain knowledge on using the group compliance platform
- Review existing policies

Within 3 months:

- Understand how the multiple business units work in Australia
- Develop relationships with key staff members across the multiple businesses
- Completion of a gap analysis to identify areas of non-compliance with ISO 27001:2022
- Successful management of any security incidents that occur
- Implementation of lessons learned from incident response and tabletop exercises

Within 6 months:

- Complete Certification expansion for all ANZ businesses to ISO 27001:2022
- Understand all businesses processes across the multiple businesses
- Evidence of proactive risk mitigation measures implemented in response to emerging threats
