The Transport Team are searching for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated person to join their team as a Transport Planner.

**The role**:
Implement active transport projects that increase the uptake of sustainable and active modes of transport.

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- have a passion for transport projects that prioritise people over vehicles.
- contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and sustainable transport policies, strategies and projects that will lead to less reliance on cars in the City of Whitehorse.
- be a team player willing to share with others, learn from others and be a part of active discussions on how can improve together.
- have relevant tertiary qualification and experience working in Local Government.
- have excellent communication skills, both in written format and in public speaking. demonstrate good project management skills and have a good understanding of behaviour change and transport planning principles.
