Industry Engagement Officer

A new position has become available within the employability team at Swinburne University of Technology for an Industry Engagement Officer
This exciting position will provide administration and operational support to Industry Engagement Consultants within the same team. The Industry Engagement Officer will be responsible for processing and quality checking Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities, and providing systems, data and communication support to the Industry Engagement team.
The Industry Engagement Officer will play a crucial role in providing support towards the generation of WIL opportunities for students and for the growth and quality assurance of the program.
This role will suit someone with experience or an interest in WIL.
**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:
- Demonstrated, relevant experience in the provision of high quality administrative and support services within a demanding customer focused environment
- Advanced computer skills and software program experience including MS Office package, and willingness to learn new systems
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising close attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
**Qualifications**
- Completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of a post-trades certificate or advanced certificate and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
