**POSITION PURPOSE**

The purpose of this position is to provide technical, operational and communication support to the Procurement function within the Australia and New Zealand affiliates. The internal and external environment in which Lilly operates is becoming more complex and continually changing. It is important for Procurement to anticipate, develop and continually evolve how the function operates and supports other functions in the business to meet the current and future company objectives.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead strategies and savings projects within specific spend categories.
- Support the implementation of global and regional procurement projects and sourcing strategies at a local level.
- Liaise with local and regional stakeholders to ensure procurement projects and sourcing strategies are implemented within specified timelines.
- Provide support and guidance to local stakeholders for processes and policies to maintain compliance.
- Provide contract system and operational support.
- Help improve affiliate contract management and third-party engagement process.
- Provide support on internal policy training and violations monitoring.
- Prepare monthly reports including spend reports, savings reports, and other reports as required by the business.
- Proactively manage, monitor, and rationalize local affiliate supplier base.
- Provide support for internal and external compliance, audit, and government reports.

**ENVIRONMENT & POSITION CHALLENGES**

This role requires the ability to work both, collaboratively and autonomously, with the ability to prioritize across projects in a dynamic, fast paced, and regulated environment. Attention to detail, compliance mindset, focus and process improvement behaviors are key attributes to success. Must also demonstrate confidentiality.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, and/or project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience and ability with data analysis, reporting preparation, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

- Relevant tertiary, associate, or bachelor’s degree / certificate.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional leaders and teams in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
- Previous experience supporting, leading or co-leading projects.
- Procurement, sourcing, purchasing and/or supplier management experience.
- Compliance and internal/external controls experience.
- Experience with SAP and Ariba systems.
- Travel_
