**Why your Role Matters**
As Performance and Process Improvement Analyst, your focus will be on the regular provision of reports to ensure the quality of admission and scholarships related data maintained in UNSW’s student systems. You will manage the Admissions and Scholarship configuration in UNSW systems and convert data from UAC and UNSW Systems into information to provide critical insights to relevant stakeholders. Working closely with the Manager, Admissions and Scholarships Enablement, you will play a key role in identifying issues in current business processes and promotes opportunities for improvement.

Specific accountabilities for this role include:

- Production of service reporting, data quality and exception reporting and analysis.
- Ensuring admissions data is accurately captured and interpreted in dashboards and reports.
- Managing UAC data reporting and running complex queries in the UAC system.
- Participating in systems and reporting analytics design as required to support process change initiatives.
- Providing oversight for the UAC acceptance file and Enrolment verification file upload for UG, OS and PG cohorts.
- Investigating new qualifications, perform benchmarking and develop assessment procedures

**Who You Are**:
You will hold a relevant qualification, or equivalent level of knowledge, and relevant experience within data management and business improvement processes alongside:

- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use innovative thinking when developing a robust approach or finding solutions to problems.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders and a capacity to influence decisions.
- Knowledge and understanding of admissions within the higher education sector.
- Sound analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interrogate and report on statistical data.
- Ability to work independently, manage workflows and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in analysing or reviewing business processes and policies for the purpose of improving or developing new or existing services, procedures and/or policies.
