We’re building a $500 million Glass Recycling and Remanufacturing factory in Yatala, just south of Brisbane.

The facility will represent the largest investment that we have every made. We will recycle up to 200,000 tonnes of Queensland’s glass annually to produce 1 billion bottles a year. The glass site will be located next to our existing Visy Board and Visy Beverage Can facilities. This Yatala precinct will create a range of career opportunities for our staff and those who join us in the future.

An opportunity has arisen in the project team for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a major role in planning for and delivering talent to our key milestones and timelines. This is a full lifecycle talent acquisition role, critical to delivery of major project.

This is an 18-month fixed-term role with the potential to go permanent at the end of the period. Combination of work from home and onsite in Yatala.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Plan interview and selection procedures. We will use a combination of assessment days, traditional in-person interviews and structured competency-based interviews.
- Attend careers fairs and participate in partner events and conferences.
- Determine selection criteria and executive detailed plans to recruit and deliver on key talent against build and commissioning milestones.
- Monitor and follow up on pre-employments checks for key hires including Psychometric, Medical, Police Check and Reference Checks.
- Forecast and report on progress against key talent delivery milestones, contributing to reporting for time to hire, source of hire and interview and offer to hire ratios.
- Conduct measured trials of new channels and sourcing approaches.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity to play a major role in delivering talent for one of Queensland’s largest manufacturing projects.
- Experience in a Talent Acquisition or similar HR project delivery role. You will need to be planned and organised in your approach.
- A familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- A good knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and/or similar databases.
- Attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilience and flexibility, you’ll need to pivot from time to time and try different approaches.
- Experience working in a recruitment agency or an in-house talent acquisition team will be highly regarded.
