**Role Description**:
The Customer Project Principal is a newly created opportunity in our Customer Projects and Enablement team based at our Perth CBD office.

The Customer Project Principal is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the Customer Business Unit. The role will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered in accordance to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Be accountable for the overall delivery of projects to agreed criteria, within commercially competitive standards for safety, cost, timeliness, quality, and scope and to the expectations of our customers and stakeholders
- Lead and build effective project teams across diverse functions of the organisation to deliver required project or program outcomes
- Ability to understand project interdependencies, impacted stakeholder groups, risks and provide recommendations for the best outcomes for our customers and the community
- Deliver and present regular project status reporting, pro-actively identifying and effectively managing variances
- Develop business cases in collaboration with business users, capturing all costs and benefits

**What you will bring**:

- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, effective communication, negotiation and delivering successful outcomes.
- Financial acumen for program-level budget allocation, tracking and decision making.
- Strong leadership skills, team management and mentoring experience.
- Experience of delivering within a highly regulated industry or environment with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and good understanding of project management and project methodologies
