**(HEO7) $95,017 to $106,270 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.**

Based within our Finance Strategy & Governance Team and reporting to the Manager, Finance Strategy and Reporting, this role will be fundamental in providing business analysis and planning support.

Working within a dynamic team environment, this diverse role assists the Finance Strategy & Governance Team in the development of the University’s financial strategy, setting the University’s financial framework and University budget framework, whilst Undertaking financial analysis and developing financial models to assist the University in its financial decision making. A key focus of the role will be engaging with the annual budget and financial planning cycle.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Experience in the preparation and analysis of Corporate Budgets and Forecasts.
- Experience in the provision of high-quality financial accounting services including reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience in the collection, manipulation, analysis and reporting of data.
- Strong written reporting, communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in ad hoc reporting using self-service modelling tools (Cognos Workspace Advanced or similar) with both financial and non-financial data sources.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas including accounting, business, or commerce with subsequent relevant experience and CPA or CA qualified, or formal progress towards qualifications underway.
