**The Facility**

As part of the state wide health service you will be located in this modern 160 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments. The ED sees more than 16,000 presentations per year. Significant hospital growth is expected with additional theatres opening in 2019 and budgets to grow medical teams.

VMO support is also readily available across a number of surgical specialisations, with strong affiliation with experienced consultants at Monash Hospital, to complement paediatric surgeries, ENT, urology surgical procedures.

- Specialist registration with AHPRA or eligible for.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and education provision for junior medical staff
- Appropriate communication skills across the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families
