We are seeking a talented Deputy Product Manager to join our dynamic and diverse team. As a Deputy Product Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing our product line and driving its success through requirements analysis, solution architecture, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. **What you'll do**:

- Lead a diverse and talented technical team, ensuring effective coordination of requirements, design, and development through the Defence Capability Life Cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and key stakeholders to shape the direction of system development and provide valuable insights and expertise.
- Translate complex technical and operational issues into clear and easily understandable concepts, facilitating communication and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
- Drive the design and integration of our systems with nominated external platforms, incorporating inclusive and accessible design principles.
- Contribute to the development of accurate and inclusive documentation and artifacts, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and implement improvements to workplace processes, promoting efficiency, effectiveness, and inclusivity.
- Support the professional development and growth of team members, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

**Requirements**:

- NV1 Security Clearance
- Strong experience in requirements engineering and stakeholder engagement, driving collaboration and ensuring diverse perspectives are considered.
- Familiarity with Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Protective Framework, and the National Institute of Standard and Technology.
- Ability to work in accordance with the engineering management system, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Excellent leadership skills, empowering and guiding technical teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proven ability to review and provide valuable insights on technical documentation and artifacts, contributing to the overall quality of deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, thriving in complex and challenging environments.
- Experience in managing engineering change proposals and driving process improvements, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
