**About the Role**

Our Maternity Unit at North Shore Private Hospital has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Clinical Midwife Specialist.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Relevant Midwifery Qualification and APHRA Registration
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a midwifery setting
- Recent Midwifery experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Demonstrated risk management and OH&S
- Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
- Minimum of 4 years post registration experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans.
- High level written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as
- required
- Understanding of scope of practice
- Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical
- indicators and other quality projects

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from **$50.29** + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)[FTE $97 910.80]

**About Our Hospital**

North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 312-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore. The hospital’s specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery. Comprehensive diagnostic facilities and medical consulting suites are also on site.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
