**Join us in our mission to provide exceptional care and support to those affected by eating disorders.**

The Statewide Paediatric Eating Disorder Services (SPEDS), aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents experiencing eating disorders.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Provision of high level child and adolescent care and advice, and to be an expert resource for patients, families, health care professionals, educational institutions and the community across South Australia;
- Providing nursing care in the outpatient setting, with some support and inreach into inpatient services;
- Providing clinical leadership to nurses and other health professionals who work with children and adolescents with eating disorders; and
- Coordination and leadership of projects and/or programs within the Statewide Paediatric Eating Disorders Service that contribute clinical expertise to improve patient/client/service outcomes and meet the Principles of the State-wide Model of Care Project (outlined on Page 10 of this document).

To be **successful **in this role, you will have:

- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practicing certificate.
- Possession of a mental health qualification (e.g., Diploma or Advanced Diploma in mental health), or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Clinical proficiency in paediatric eating disorders care.
