**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As the Quality Assurance Team Lead, you will support EML business units by administering quality assurance reviews and providing process stabilisation where appropriate. Your role assists the team in identifying trends and developing areas of risk within the claims portfolio.

You will work with leadership across the business to identify appropriate actions to maximise performance outcomes, enhance the customer experience and positively contribute to organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

This will be a **permanent **position based in our **Newcastle **office.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Continually monitor, evaluate and review team workloads and overall team resources to ensure distribution is appropriate to skill base and in line with business model
- Ensure poor performers are identified and that counselling and disciplinary procedures are undertaken and are in accordance with employment legislation, policies and procedures and the relevant award
- Plan for and initiate Quality Assurance Framework to ensure reviews are completed in a timely manner
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with internal clients and the management team by displaying our values and behaviours
- Ensure the organisation complies with legal, regulatory and governance requirements by keeping abreast of relevant governance, regulatory and legal obligations

**ABOUT YOU**
- People management and stakeholder skills, including team building, coaching and change management
- Experienced workers compensation professional, or 3-5 years workers compensation experience.
- Strong project management skills (including planning, scheduling, governance and reporting)
- High level reporting and excel skills
- Strong customer focus and drive to provide a high level of service to our clients
