**How will you contribute?**

We are seeking a Manager Performance to lead and maintain the Audit Office’s corporate performance reporting framework, working with the Office Executive and other key stakeholders to develop, monitor, report and improve key measures of strategic and operational success. The role is required to develop contemporary ways of evaluating, measuring and communicating the impact of the Audit Office’s work program on public administration for the benefits of citizens. In addition, the role is required to manage the annual parliamentarian and auditee survey process, and other adhoc survey processes, aimed at measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Audit Office’s work program.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- leading and maintaining a contemporary corporate performance reporting framework that monitors and reports progress against strategic and operational measures of success which meets the needs of key decision makers
- designing contemporary strategic and operational measures of success that are aligned to the organisation’s strategic objectives, strategic and operational risks, and values, by working collaboratively with the Office Executive and Leadership Team.
- developing and work to continuously improve a contemporary framework that guides the Audit Office in better assessing, documenting and communicating the impact of its work program on public administration for the benefits of citizens.
- preparing monthly, quarterly and annual corporate performance reports
- designing and executing the annual parliamentarian and auditee survey process, by working collaboratively with the independent research firm and key internal stakeholders
- developing business intelligence capability across the whole organisation, as well as integrated financial and non-financial reporting, by working collaboratively with the Director, Finance and Practice Management
- overseeing the Audit Office’s participation in the Australasian Council of Auditors-General (ACAG) annual macro benchmarking process, including analysing the results, trends and reporting on outcomes.
- providing timely strategic advice to the Executive Director, Finance and Performance and the Office Executive on all corporate performance reporting matters
- conducting adhoc benchmarking and other analysis related to organisational performance.

**What will you need to succeed?**

We are seeking someone with relevant tertiary qualification in business/commerce, economics or similar discipline and extensive experience in corporate performance reporting. The successful individual is also required to be an Australian permanent resident or citizen or New Zealand citizen.

**What are the benefits?**

On offer is a 35-hour work week and a total remuneration package (including superannuation) from **$138,245 - $187,577** per annum depending on experience, skills and capabilities. As well as access to flexible work practices and arrangements.
