**Advertising and Strategic Planning Manager**
- _Salary: $130,673 - $174,869 plus superannuation _

**The Role**

Reporting to the Director Digital, Creative and Corporate Communications, this role leads coordination of communications planning and governance and supports project delivery within the Strategic Communications branch, as part of a talented, high-performing team.

Key Accountabilities include but not limited to:

- Lead the delivery of advertising governance, integrated communications strategy development and project delivery
- Lead annual planning processes to identify, prioritise and phase the pipeline of marketing and communications activities
- Manage the delivery of the department's Annual Advertising Plan and campaign approvals
- Proactively identify and lead improvements to communications and marketing planning, delivery and evaluation
- Establish, maintain and manage positive, professional and effective working relationships
- Play an active role as a member of the leadership team
- Note that the role works with marketing teams but does not directly deliver marketing activities

**The Team**

The position of Advertising and Strategic Planning Manager forms a part of the Corporate Services Group and Strategic Communications Branch. This Branch is responsible for:

- the department's communications policy, governance and advice;
- delivery of media pipelines, communications strategy and issues management;
- corporate communications support for DJSIR inclusive of internal, corporate and emergency communications, and
- providing selected communications services on a cost recovery basis.
