We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Rowville Site. The role is responsible for supporting and coordinating the dispatch of customer orders for the Darrell Lea business by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all relevant documentation, correspondence, enquires, and deadlines.
**About the Role**
- Accurate and timely preparation and submission of all relevant documentation e.g. invoices, connotes, Chep dockets etc.
- Arrange transport, send manifests and load sheets etc.
- Respond to customer and consumer enquires and feedback with exceptional service
- Ensure all export, grocery and route orders are dispatched as per requirements
- Ensure correct freight and additional charges are costed correctly
- Maintain and improve quality, food safety and hygiene within area of responsibility and take corrective action in response to quality, food safety and hygiene non-compliance
- Identify and raise risk management and OHS issues on an on-going basis in relation to area of responsibility to ensure that risks and OHS issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner
- Assist with stocktakes, reporting and data entry
**Skills & Experience**
- 2 years previous experience working within a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel Skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Chep and MFG-Pro (or similar system)
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency, deadline driven with good organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
