**Your new role**:
**Key duties include but are not limited to**:

- As a member of the Data Services Leadership team, contribute to establishment of the function and development of its capabilities, and contribute towards uplifting the Fund’s overall data capabilities and data risk posture.
- Be wholly responsible for development, product ownership, deliver & operations of data assets/products related to the enterprise and regulatory data domains
- Work with key stakeholders to develop & implement short-term and long-term roadmaps to develop data foundations for regulatory reporting, with an initial focus on Superannuation Data Transformation 2 (SDT2).
- Develop and implement plans to streamline dataflows, eliminate silos, manual processes and redundancy by creating Foundational Data Assets (e.g. Common Data Model) on the Fund Data Platform, and rationalising the Fund’s data estate in the medium-long term.
- Working with the head of data governance, rollout the data governance framework, key policies and standards to the Enterprise Domain
- Implement the Fund’s data management procedures and data risk management framework to enable robust regulatory reporting and the broader enterprise data domains, in line with the data services strategy
- Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of data risks associated with regulatory reporting and the enterprise data domains.
- Establish incident and risk management processes to proactively identify, assess and monitor data risk, integrity and quality as well as implement and embed strong controls, and ensure controls are tested regularly to ensure they meet all obligations. Proactively engage with colleagues at all levels, act as an evangelist for data management in the Fund, and communicate its significance in a crisp and meaningful manner.

**What you’ll need**:

- A relevant Tertiary qualification or master’s degree in business administration.
- Certification in data governance, data management, data science or Enterprise IT.
- 5+ years’ experience within a financial services company with direct exposure to regulatory reporting & APRA guidelines.
- Strong experience delivering data foundations, and managing ongoing data management and data risk to support preparation and submission of regulatory reporting.
- Experience working with regulatory reporting, finance & technology teams to deliver scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, data management methodologies and implementing governance frameworks.
