The Star Brisbane is Australia’s newest entertainment hub at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct. The first phase is now open, with more venues and experiences on the way. The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre.

This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

We are currently looking for Facility Cleaning Supervisors to join the leadership team at The Star Brisbane.

The successful applicant for this role will report to the Facilities Operations Manager and is accountable for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning of all public areas within The Star Brisbane.

**A few of your responsibilities**
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance programs are completed to company standards
- Support and assist the team during peak periods
- Allocate work areas to all Facility Cleaners and ensure all necessary cleaning equipment is provided
- Inspect all front of house, back of house and external areas to review cleaning standards
- Complete reports for any necessary requirements and ensure the work is completed
- Supervise and add value to the activities of all team members by providing leadership to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction is achieved

**What we will be looking for**
- Leadership experience in a similar supervisory position
- Previous experience within a 5 Star Property
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and procedures
- Strong communication skills with high level computer literacy
- Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster

**About you**

You will have previous supervisory experience in a cleaning role within a five-star property or integrated resort or similar industry experience. In addition, you will have experience in improving operational efficiency, elevating guest experiences, and maintaining the highest level of cleanliness. You will bring a collaborative and welcoming mindset and thrive in a team environment. You will have a demonstrated understanding of relevant industry regulatory requirements with experience embedding these requirements as part of your ways of working.
