Together, we are Toyota.- What you’ll contribute to- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Supply Chain Coordinator to join our National Sales Division in a Max Term role until 30th November 2024.- As Supply Chain Coordinator you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Regional Planning team with production allocation and inventory control of Toyota vehicles to the Regions and the Dealer network to contribute to the achievement of sales targets and profit objectives- You will be part of the National Sales Division that plan, coordinate, and execute of all national vehicle sales, fleet, integrated planning and logistics activities in order to achieve vehicle sales volume, market share and profitability- The role is based in Port Melbourne, with flexible work arrangements on offer.- How you’ll make an impact-
- Support the introduction supply chain improvement initiatives from concept to operational readiness and assist with business changes and communication associated with the introduction of these initiatives.
- Coordination and allocation of vehicles including new models, and special edition vehicles to the Regions and Dealers, with the goal of reducing aged stock, decreasing guest lead time, and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Alignment and communication with our Japanese HQ for production confirmation and communication of vehicle volumes and input into our corporate system.
- Act as the key contact for stakeholders in relation to Regional and Dealer vehicle allocations (including monthly meetings with regions, ad hoc dealer meetings) resolving any queries and issues and escalating matters to minimise risk.
- Assist with the gathering, summary, analysis, and reporting of information. Conduct analysis of regional stock position to ascertain trends for accurate and timely information to support logistics planning, budgeting, forecasting activities, and aged stock. Develop, present, and implement counter measures based on this analysis.- Your attributes - If you’ve got one or more, we’d love to hear from you-
- Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a busy corporate environment.
- Intermediate Excel and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in reporting and data analysis (demand and supply analysis highly regarded).
- Experience with SAP or equivalent system.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and coordination.
