What will your role be?

Reporting to the Head of Health Safety and Environment, this role is focused on the development of an HSE Management System and on the task / activities involving: Health, Safety and Environment Risk Assessments Program, HSE Technical / Non-technical Training Content (including Tool Box Talks) and Safe Operating Procedures Review and Approval.

The team is based in Huntingwood, Sydney with a hybrid working model.

What does this role look like for you?
- Development of an HSEMS. Creation of Risk Assessment and Training Materials and SOP review and approvals
- Support the HW Operational Management Team with implementation and training to the Developed HSEMS
- Small working party meetings to gain feedback / consult with HW Operational Team and key stakeholders (HSR Network etc).
- Minor WHS implementation and Corrective Action Close out will be required to support a broader Life Saving Rules roll-out.

What will you bring to the table?
- Certificate IV / Diploma or Degree in WHS - Allied Health Professional (or similar)
- 3-5 years’ experience in HSE coordinator role ideally in manufacturing, transport or logistics.
- Experience working in hazardous areas desirable.
- Sound understanding of Safety Management Systems and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in sustainability or environmental management will be looked upon favourably.
