- CCLHD Whole Family Team is seeking a Family Clinician to join our community teams based out of the Gateway Centre in Gosford.

- Whole Family Team (WFT) forms part of CCLHD's integrated Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Service, and is part of the Violence Abuse and Neglect-Family Services clinical stream. We are seeking experienced health professionals to join our multidisciplinary team with Family Clinician roles available.
- WFT is a key therapeutic service working in the family preservation area, providing intensive support to vulnerable families on the Central Coast. Services are usually delivered in the home, with the focus of supporting parents to strenghten their parenting capacity and family functioning so children can safely remain with their family.
- Our multidisciplinary team includes a broad range of roles and skills, and works collaboratively to tailor interventions that suit each family's unique needs. Clinicians are supported by the team's clinical leads (mental health and drug and alcohol) with exciting opportunities for family clinicians to develop their mental health and drug and alcohol practice. The team also includes a child health nurse, a psychiatrist and an addiction medicine specialist, creating appealing opportunities for dynamic and comprehnsive family work.

**What you'll be doing**
- Family Clinician’s in the Whole Family Team (WFT) provide specialist interventions that work towards the recovery and ongoing safety and wellbeing of families and their children involved with the child protection system.
- It's a rewarding time to be working in NSW Health Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) services. With new policy and enhancements to our response to all forms of violence, the critical work with our agency partners is increasingly important to provide a seamless and trauma informed response to vulnerable children and families. The Family Clinician's and Aboriginal Family Clinician in Whole Family Team (WFT) provide specialist interventions for families with parental Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol. The clinicians with the support of the Clinical Leads - Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol, Medical staff and Child and Family Health Nurse provide specialist interventions in close collaboration with Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) as well as other health services, relevant government and non-government agencies. The focus is on strengthening parenting capacity so children can safely remain with their family. Families are referred into the program where Risk of Significant Harm (ROSH) has been identified due to the presence of parental mental health and/or drug and alcohol. Family members may also be experiencing Violence Abuse or Neglect such as Domestic Violence. Specialist interventions are provided in the community and in the home. WFT is a key service working in the family preservation area and is part of the Violence Abuse and Neglect - Family Services Unit. The team forms part of the District's integrated Violence Abuse and Neglect Service.
- They work closely with their colleagues and leadership within VAN Services and more broadly across the health service to facilitate recovery, integrated and trauma informed care that is holistic and seamless. Targeted training and development is provided to support the team to be innovative, culturally safe and evidence based to develop and deliver effective and sound interventions that operationalise the NSW Health Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect
