**About the role**
The Pricing Manager is accountable for leading and coordinating the Pricing Strategy for TAFE SA with the TAFE SA Board and for leading and coordinating the setting and review of fees and charges for TAFE SAs products and services. The Pricing Manager ensure fees and charges balance stakeholder priorities, market conditions, the need for equitable and affordable VET training, the need for hardship and concession provisions across a wide range of cohorts whilst ensuring TAFEs ongoing financial sustainability. The role develops pricing policy tools and capability to facilitate these outcomes.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Minimum of 3 years commercial experience delivering end to end solutions within pricing context.
- Significant experience in product or project costing and pricing.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to provide expert advice on business activity data.
- Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated accounting skills and understanding of financial modelling techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation.
- Tertiary Qualification in a quantitative or commercial discipline - statistics, econometrics, actuarial, mathematics, accounting, finance, commerce, economics, etc. are essential requirements of this role.
- CA or CPA is highly desirable.
- Experience in Government and/or Education setting would be considered highly desirable.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work will be required.
- Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
