The Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) is seeking a dynamic and inspiring individual to support the CMRP mission with the development of medical and space devices, and the training and education of research students in the role of Associate Research Fellow.

The CMRP is an internationally recognised leader in the development of medical devices based on semiconductor radiation detectors for radiation medicine, including for X-ray and particle radiation therapy dosimetry, medical imaging and space radiation fields. An additional strength of the CMRP are the Monte Carlo radiation transport simulations for prediction of the response of radiation detectors on medical LINAC, particle accelerators and space radiation fields.

This position requires you to be proficient in C++, Python or other object-oriented languages; familiarity with the Qt C++ Suite environment is favourable. Previous experience in semiconductor radiation detectors, Monte Carlo simulations and software development for radiation detection instrumentation will be advantage.
