**About the role**

The **FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) Coordinator** is a senior member of the Adult Mental Health Service clinical team who works to build capacity of the services to respond effectively to the consumer and their families through workforce training, policy and procedure development, community education, stakeholder engagement, and working alongside clinicians.

A regular day will see you:

- Working with young people who have parents with a mental illness
- Advocating for consumers and their families and organisational leadership meetings
- Working alongside clinicians to enhance their service responses to consumers and their families.

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

- An excellent understanding of the principles of recovery orientated practices and its implementation within a clinical setting.
- Be able to develop rapport with parents who have a mental illness and their family.
- Can effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Is a leader.
- Enjoys working with people.
