Principal Project Officer

The role The principal project officer is accountable for leading the effective and timely development of range of information-led and evidence-based initiatives and projects that provide key insights into the provision of service and performance of MHAOD services across the state. This role is the key interface between the MHAODB, key internal and a broad range of external stakeholders in relation to the development of performance measures and monitoring, trend analysis and preparation of contextualised briefs and high level correspondence and the development of statewide projects aimed at service improvement and monitoring.
**The successful personYou will have**: - Demonstrated ability to interpret data, analyse trends and contextualise information to the MHAOD landscape in order to inform, develop and enhance both State and National performance measures (SFIA: MEAS, INAS, VISL - level 6). - Demonstrated ability to prepare and disseminate high quality and complex briefings, project documentation, communication, and reports (TECH, RSCH, QUAS - Level 6). - Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders (RLMT - level 6). - Demonstrated ability to utilise appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools in accordance with Queensland Health Policy, including appropriate risk and issues identification, assessment, and mitigation alongside an ability to plan and prioritise in a complex and high-volume environment (SFIA: PRMG- Level 6).
